Time: 25-30 minutes
Materials: flashcards or real things, worksheet, coins and bank notes (symbolic)
- Choose 2-3 children, who will be shop assistants in different toy shops (children can toss a coin to decide who will be an assistant). The prices of toys that the children sell, differ (the children can set the prices by themselves; they will write the prize on the sticker and stick it on the toy.
- The rest of the children in the classroom will get the list/pictures of 2 or more toys that they want to buy.
- First they must find out the price of the toys in each shop, write it down in the free space next to the toy on the handout and then say to find in which shop they can buy the cheapest toy.
