Time: 10 minutes
Materials: a short story, story illustrations
- Select a story suitable for your group of students with regards to their age and vocabulary level (for links to children’s short stories see below).
- Read/tell them the story slowly and clearly. After individual parts, pause to show them pictures depicting parts of the story you read/talk about. Encourage your students to name people and things you show them in the pictures.
- Finally let the children put the pictures in the order in which the story developed.
