GET INTO GROUPS 1
(Mathematics)

• Ask the children to hop, say „Let’s hop.“
• Physically move the children into groups of a specific number to demonstrate how in this game when you call out a number the children must quickly get into groups according to that given number (Call out “Get into groups of three“, they get into groups of three).
• Repeat several times, each time using different verbs and numbers.

Variation:

With more advanced pupils combine instruction to get into groups with another follow up instruction, e.g. ”Get into groups of four and touch a table.“
