- Fix the spiders’ bodies to the board and line up the children in 3 groups of eight in front of them (any extra children can be the teacher’s helpers, responsible for safety and fair play).
- Give the child at the front of each group a leg and blindfold them.
- The blindfolded children (with the aid of a teacher’s helper if available) tentatively go to the board and attach the spider’s legs as best they can. The others in the group give instructions as to where they should go “up/down/left or right”.
