TWIST YOUR BODY
(Body)
Subject: Physical education
Cross-curricular links: English language, Humans and their world
Time: 10 minutes
- You need enough room for movement. Tell the children which parts of their bodies are to touch one another.
- Start with the easiest, e.g. an ear and a shoulder: "Let your ear touch your shoulder." Gradually, add more complicated movements: "Let your right hand touch your head and your left hand touch your knee." Meanwhile, the children move around (they may walk or hop, try to sit in a given position, etc.).
Variation:
The body parts of two people/all students may touch, e.g. their elbows, fingers. Children will have a lot of fun.
