Language structures: Are you a/an …? - Yes, I’m/No, I’m not.
Time: 10 minutes
- The children walk round in a circle.
- Call out various jobs, such as police officer, soldier, singer, teacher etc.
- When you say a word from a different lexical group, everybody has to sit down.
- Then ask one of the children to call out various jobs including words from other lexical groups.
Note:
The activity can be adapted to practise any vocabulary.
