  • Collect sufficient number of cups, cans, glass, etc.; and legumes and cereals for your students to make accompanying musical instruments. Prepare a song they know, so they can accompany it.
  • From material of their own choice, students make various musical instruments. For example, they make a paper roll, cover one opening, fill it with rice, and close the other opening; fill have a plastic cup with lentils and cover it with a lid; slam two PET bottles; etc.
  • Once every student has an instrument, have them stand in a circle and play the song. Then all accompany the music with their instruments and sing.
