SPOT THE DIFFERENCE

• Give each child the handout of two similar pictures they will look the same but there will be some differences.
• The children should find all the differences.
• First let the children look at the pictures and circle the differences: “Look at the pictures, find the differences and circle them.“
• Ask them how many differences they can see: “How many differences can you see?“ Reward everybody who circled the same amount of correct differences.

Variation for advanced children:

The children describe the differences among the pictures (call out an individual child): „(Kuba), what’s different in picture one?“ Practise the structure there is/there are.

Note:

The activity can be adapted to practise any vocabulary.
