Time: 15 minutes
Materials: plastic fruit and vegetables or flashcards
- Put the fruit and vegetables on the table.
- Call the children to the front one by one and ask them: “What would you like?“ The dialogue goes as follows: “An apple, please.“ – “Here you are.“ – “Thank you.“ – “You are welcome.“
- When all of the children have got what they asked for, ask them to give the fruit and the vegetables back: “Can I have the apple(s), please.“
- The children will come to the front and put their fruit or vegetables back in the basket.
